I bought a LeBlond Regal 19 by 54 inch servo shift lathe recently. Everything seems well taken care of considering it's from an aerospace company in the 1960's. The only problem is that the guy I bought it from had taken a lot of it apart to restore it. I've been making great progress sifting thru countless Youtube videos, but have run into a problem. The clutch handle to start, stop and reverse has a linkage inside with a clevis that connects with a bolt or pin. I can see it with a flash light, but there's no way I can access it to connect the two with a bolt. There must be some simple solution to this, I'm sure this issue must have come up before with people reassembling lathes. Any advice would help. Here's a picture.
