Looking at a qt15..

I am going to check out a QT15 with a T32-2 control tomorrow. Any thing I should be on the look out for?

I will bring an indicator and check the turret.

Unfortunately it was probably used to cut graphite but the price is right.

where do I start...
1.FR-SF spindle unit with funny power supply and constantly failing transistors drivers.
2.Proper machine backup
3.Electric diagram and parts manual
4.NC control, with its unstoppable desire to fail, specially memory board and servo control board
5.Colour TV that will fail eventually

Why check turret? It is easy to adjust if needed.
Yes the FR-SF can fail on both power supply and the transistors but it easy to fix if you are handy and can follow a discription.
I have run my Multiplex 620 T32-6 for about 5 years now and have had the following problems:
Ballscreew bearings on all axis (Screaming load when bad)
FR-SF Power supplie
FR-SF Transistors
Ballscrew encoders
Bearings on drive shaft to the driven tools
