Looking for bed for Oliver 25C or 20C pattern makers lathe

I have an Oliver 25C w/ 10' bed, and I'm going to be moving to a building with a smaller elevator that it probably won't fit in. I don't need a long bed, I'm a banjo maker, so looking for another bed to cut down or a shorter one. I hate to cut mine, seems like bad karma, but if I have to I'll consider it. The smaller 20" B and 16" A lathes have much narrower beds.

No help with a shorter bed but I have heard that it is possible for extra long items to ride on top of the elevator. Need the super or building owner to help with the move. Might be less hassle than finding a shorter one or cutting down the one you have.
