maho 600 E 432 Control Error X02

I have a Maho 600 E with a Phillips 432 control on it.
I am frequently getting an Error Message X02 ( Alarm Measuring system Error)
It can happen with the axis moving and sometimes when it is stopped.

Has anyone encountered anything similar?
If so what was the cause?

I could be wrong-- it's been awhile. I believe this may be related to actual encoder position versus where the machine thinks it should be. In the parameters there is a following delay or some such that you can actually turn completely off if you like. I would try this first-- if it works you can dig deeper into what the problem might be.

in my maintenance logs this error is common, and solved by cleaning the scale/head.
