Saying that most of the media here doesn't lean left is a flat out lie, or maybe New Hampshire is not in the USA. What is "my branch of Republicans"? I don't think the election of 2020 was stolen, and I did not vote for Trump, nor do I listen to him, I can't stand him going back to when he owned the Generals. This current Democratic regime is much closer to what Republicans used to be in the 50's and 60's, bar the small close-to-Left like Bernie. The way the current trump/McConnell boys run is more lie (actual lies, not "oh, I don't like their policies") and fascism in using power to dictate policy and appointments (such as manipulating Supreme Court appointments, including the most blazing hypocrisy).

I admit to being close to despair over the willingness of people who should be clear eyed on fact and falsehood to buy into whatever their leaders tell them, such as using horse dewormer rather than functional and effective vaccines to treat a virus. It feels like half the country has joined a cult, and all they care about now is what flavor of Kool-Aid to choose.

What the hell happened to America? What happened to truth and justice, which used to be the American Way?

Now, for many, the bigger the lie the happier they are.

I think he is poking fun at BigBSer's claim of owning a cattle ranch full of rocks claim. I have only worked with a few fellows from across the pond ages ago, but most of their humor and slang don't trip me up. I know you lived some years in the UK, correct? Maybe he is in a unique class as he loves those dirty cams, and they may have given him a strange sense of humor. I have operated machines with cams, but they were at least hybrid CNC machines. Maybe being a cam machine loving wanker from across the pond makes him a weird duck, but he is ok in my book.
