Uhm, I think not.

I won't own any of that stock, it's in the contract.

Of all the folks that I consider Quality, and trusted, NONE of them do the faceplant, or twatter shit. NONE.

I think the whole social media thingy is doomed to fail, and soon. They're writing their own obits.

If you think one way, it's cool, but if you think another way, you're banned.

Hell this place is more open than they are.

I don't think it will fail, but I do not understand people who partake in it unless doing it for business reasons or to stay in touch with out of town family and friends. How people follow celebrities boggle the mind, why do people care where the Kardashians ate dinner? I never understood people looking up to celebrities.

I've never accused you or the Russian member of voting for trump. Same for citizenf16. But it's pretty obvious from all of your posts that you support that crazy pathological lying pig trump.

Trump is a lying pig, so what are you? You constantly lie, you might even be able to beat him in a lying contest.
I am not a Trump supporter, and you can't produce one post I made toward his support, other than saying if you just look at results he wasn't that bad. As a person he is a creep, and as a businessman he has no morals. None of those things had an effect on his abilities as president. He definitely did a better job than the disaster we have in the White House now. That of course isn't saying much.

When my mom was sick, my sister started a private faceplant page so we could keep up with her cancer treatment status and later her hospice care.

That is the only time I participated in the thing, and I still am mortified that somehow this will be published/revealed later.

I have nothing to hide, but it still feels skeeshy to me.

And I don't think that employers need to see any of that crap, but they do.

Do you know what "overton windows" are?

Maybe try a thread about machining sometime. That might work out better. Have you ever had any experience making chips or are you just here solely to sing the praises of your lying scum bag cult leader?

When have you ever contributed to a machining thread other than posting misinformation? Someone needed advice using a manual mill drilling small holes in an exotic material recently. If you were who you claim to be you should have been in there to contribute, of course you were nowhere to be found. The reason being the peak of your machining skills were being the drill press operator in the maintenance shop. It was easy to find the drill press assigned to you as it was the one that had a table on it that looked like it was made out of Swiss cheese.

Yes, but I fail to see what that has to do with the discussion.

"I have nothing to hide" is exactly the same when we have a risk of leakage of personal data or there is a chance to get hooked by special services. turned the natural state of things into something else, the secret of personal life or correspondence ... everything is in the past. therefore, the words about the fact that I have nothing to hide already sounds like an excuse for something reprehensible. all this has been turned upside down in the age of the Internet under the guise of "security", "counter-terrorism" and so on. and as a result, your personal life at any time can become public against your will. and now it is accepted as the norm. all your personal data leaked from facebook? It's okay, you don't have anything to hide, do you? we were gradually taught that "I have nothing to pluck", no matter what, it's normal ...

I don't know what that is supposed to mean.

I simply want to be judged on MY merits and skills when it comes to employment, not some stupid facebook argument from ten years ago.

Over here, employers regularly inspect your social media history to see if you "meet their standards".

As far as I'm concerned when I punch out, or leave their property, it's none of their business what I do.

Nothing "reprehensible" about it.

It's called privacy.

we're just on the verge of losing her. many are already willing to sacrifice their privacy because they were told "this is for your own safety" these are the overton windows, what was previously unacceptable under any circumstances is now becoming the norm

The fictional Ponderosa was in Nevada, Big B's fictional ranch is in Arizona. They both are fictional, but in different states.

Keep picking on me and my best mate and you will be in a state. That is not a threat, it is a promise. When I come over to see Brenda we can meet up to re-arrange your nose, for free. ,

Why do you keep picking on my best mate? I wont be sending you a postcard from the Ponderosa.

Just correcting the idiot.
He's so full of shit, his eyes turned brown.

I can't believe you are taking him seriously, or maybe I am confused. Camscan is just joking, I do believe when he is backing up PM's biggest wanker or claiming to hanging out with Mafia. The across the pond humor is strange, but you should know because you lived there. My only experience was a British invasion where I worked in the 80's. They bred like rabbits. The company relocated a division and many current employees declined to move even when offered a bonus along with moving expenses paid. I guess a lot of areas in the UK were laying off machinists or wages were not good.

I was a new hire and my department was next to the tool room. Only 2 guys in the tool room made the move, and 10 guys are so was needed. So man #3 in the toolroom was some bloke from across the pond who talked funny named Mick.
A couple days later two more show up and go to work, all talking funny, using this weird slang. Within about a month there was a toolroom that was 80% from across the pond. Then two more showed up on the Swiss cam auto line a stones throw from me.

The weirdest limey was a guy named Bill, he would show you a picture of a girl in a bikini who looked like you put Brooke Shield's head on Jayne Mansfield's body. Mind you this girl looked around 20 and I was 23 at the time. When he showed me I asked who is that and said she is hot looking. He then says that is his daughter. I asked if she was single, he said she was. He then tells me I am a sick wanker and she is only 16, and if I laid a hand on her I better hope the cops catch me before he did. He pulled that stunt on every young guy in the shop. I have no idea if that was really his daughter or that was a picture of an underage girl. He seemed to think it was funny every time he pulled that stunt.

Look wanker, I have no fear of you. You don't seem to learn much off of fictional TV shows, but I do. First I know gangsters hang out in strip clubs and go to the occasional butcher's shop to grind up a body. They do not hang out in machine shops, so I figure you are just making another idle threat about knowing gangsters.

When you and BigB come for me your redcoat will stick out like a sore thumb, especially if you bring a drummer along.

I will be laying prone in the forest with my trusty .30-06, I am sure all I need is to pick you off and the others will run scared. If confronting a mob take out the toughest or biggest one first, the rest will run scared. I have done that.

.......... No gang types in 1000 to 60,000 person shops and complexes?

I was referring to Mafia, not sideways shooting street gangs whose stray bullets kill little kids. Look at all the mob hits in days gone by, they often killed people with others around, always hit their target and never harmed bystanders.

So a new John Hopkins study that the MSM is completely ignoring finds that Covid shut downs had zero positive effects on stopping the spread of the virus or on reducing Covid deaths.
It did however add around 10 trillion to the national debt, closed several small businesses, and put an imbecile in the white house.
