Mazak Lathe Chip Conveyor Control?

Hey Guys,

I for the life of me can't find the menu that allows the control of the chip conveyor on my lathe.

I know it exists, as I have done it in the past. Somewhere there is a menu that allows you to reverse the conveyor direction, as well as the speed. I don't remember how I stumbled upon it at one point, and I cannot find it again.

I have a 640 Nexus Mazatrol control on a Quick Turn 350, machine has a Jorgensen conveyor. 2002 vintage.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? The manual has been next to useless, and I've navigated through all the menus that I can think of that would get me to the chip conveyor options.

It does depend on what style conveyor you have, inverter drive has more control. It would be under one of the wrench button menus.

Manual mode: Wrench1 - options - right soft key

that's what I press on a 2012 nexus 250. Hope this helps. Just remember that there are hidden menus that you find tabbing left and right

Reversing the chip conveyor is freekin awesome on Mazak Smooth G machines. Not only does the chip conveyor reverse, it puts back the metal you removed from the part by mistake. How freekin much money will that save you?
