Mazak VCN compact 5x alarm 33 servo malfunction 2

I have a mazak 5-axis and it’s currently getting an alarm 33 servo malfunction 2 (&00000050, &0008). The machine starts up with an alarm 9 absolute position malfunction (&00000001, &0010) and alarm 72 servo warning (&0000009F, &0010) and if I wait a while the alarm 33 pops up with an e stop alarm at the same time or if I try and home the machine it pops up right away. MDI 1 and 2 with reset clears it but then it comes back pretty quickly.

When I look at the drives the amp drive for B/C axis shows F4 50 F5 9F. From what I’ve seen online 9F means a low battery but the battery in that drive reads voltage of 3.8V and I believe the battery needs to be above 3.6V.

Any help would be massively appreciated. Thank you

try to reteach home position for 9F axis. IT looks like it needs zero return to re-establish absolute data. Not machine HOME, encoder HOME.

Are these B and C axis are same power capacity? If they are, try to swap channels ( motors and encoders) , changing rotary switches settings as well.

Hi, thank you for the suggestions. How do I go to encoder home, is it through the machine position still or a different process? I tried looking it up but I wasn’t able to find anything that I could use. Unfortunately the B and C axis use different motors and encoders so I can’t swap channels.

Also, according to the alarm list I have, alarm 33 means the servo (NC reset level) is abnormal. I’m not sure what that means or how to try and fix that.

Update
I found something online to try and fix alarm 9. The proposed solution was to home the axes that I could, change machine parameter M18 bit 7 to 0, power off the machine and power it back on and then change the parameter back to what it was before hand. Then power off and power on the machine again. This didn’t clear the alarm and ended up loosing my home position. I was able to home the x,y and z axes before but I can’t anymore. The machine just goes past zero point and doesn’t stop unless I stop it. Also no matter what position I jog to for those three axes, if I power off and power on the machine it recognizes that position as 0 for the machine position but doesn’t consider that home.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you
