After changing the cable of the encoder handwheels we get following alarms :
-Z71 Detector error 0007 Z
-S01 servo alarm : PR 0018 Z
- EMG emergency SRV
We changed the cables because we had issues with the possitioning of the lathe tool in manual mode but we could still work no alarms.
Now the machine is not moving anymore.
Plz help!

1) Did you try reverting back to the original cables?
2) Did you compare the pinout of the old cables vs the new cables?
3) If the pinout is different there is a possibility that the handwheel encoders were damaged.

Dear,

The encoders are normal oke we have the 12v Source and a 6V between A-B and the 0V
The encoders worked then and then we thought there was a bad connection in the cable ( wiring) we left the cable and the connection on the print original and we made a connection in de elektrical cabinet with connectors. The wiring is normally correct but can we test this ?

If removing the changes you made and reverting to the original wiring does not return the machine to its original condition then you probably inadvertently disturbed something in the electrical cabinet. You will need to examine any connection that you may have touched when working in the cabinet. Can you contact the lathe manufacturer to discuss this issue?

Switch back to your original cable and see if the Z71 alarm goes away. The G71 0007 alarm means there is bad communication with the encoder. Since it started when you changed cables makes me believe the new cable is not good.

If the G71 alarm goes away with the original cable, you will almost certainly have a G70 0001 alarm. This just means that the absolute encoder zero point needs to be set. Your machine builder should have that procedure in one of their manuals.
