Model 60 Tailstock traverse handle

Does anyone know where to find one of these handles ?

After watching for one for a long time I'm in the process of making one. Gear is 8 dp 14.5 PA if I remember right and 12T. I found a 14T on ebay and I bought the handle from JW Winco. They are actually pretty nicely made and about $50. I think the gear was about 25. I had the bracket on the tailstock so that wasn't needed. Dave

I have the crank handle from a lathe I parted out that I would sell.

1948 model 60 , I have the handle and the part that bolts to the tailstock

I made one myself for a 613, here's a thread on it.

Not artful but it works. Of course if I had it to do over, I'd make a bunch of changes, including putting the vertical arm closer to the bed and reversing the position of the cylinder with the bushings for the shaft but good enough for who it is for. Dave

Oh hey that's my video. If anyone has questions about my machine feel free to ask and I'll take measurements or provide what I can. It's a 1952 Series 60, 22.5x54" with a powered compound.
