Question: unfortunately I can’t remember the sequence of installing the sight glass into the bezel. Does the glass go into the bezel first and then the small cork(or rubber) gasket or vise versa?
The second photo shows the back of the bezel with the glass first and then the cork

Thanks
Jim Murphy

On my square dial there were two cork gaskets, one on either side if the sight plate.

This post has a diagram that shows the stack up:

The glass has a cork gasket on both sides. Large gasket goes in first.

Then a smaller gasket goes into the bezel

FYI these are really easy to make with a Mathew hole punch set.

I added a 3d printed plate to mine to make them more visible. Same sequence but another gasket is needed between the plate and the glass.

The OEM design has cork on both sides of the glass. I just 3d printed a spacer to replace the cork between the machine body and the sight glass. It still seals fine.
