Didn't take me that long ... this is what passes for professional or even informative these days ? Nothing but cutesy crap, and if his biggest problem is the coolant pump is noisy, well damn, better run down to Macy's and buy himself a new bra and panties.

What a crock. Is this what "millenials" watch or something ? Jeeze.
The new vfd coolant pumps are fucking loud as shit. You hear the high pitch squeal over the machine cutting

So tell them to change it. The first time they turn that thing on you say "Change the pump or take this pos back" and they will figure out a fix. "Oooh, they said that's how they all are" well, so effing what ? You're the one with the checkbook. Grow a pair. Or buy a dress and use the other bathroom ...

Or you just don't buy the POS in the first place... after 18 months I sold all my haas and got Doosan.
Haas doesn't give 2 shits at all. Talk a big game all you want or use the other bathroom.

A lot of these older Haas machines can, in some ways, be better than the newer ones. I know a lot of people with early 2000 model VF2s, SL10s/20s, etc and they still make great parts (within reason obviously). I still think The 2010-2015 year haas VMCs are the best ones to get with the older, "classic" control.
I agree, our 2014 has had less issues than one of our 2022's ( down again btw) has - both bought new. Of course the other '22 still won't run A Axis without alarming out every couple parts.

Mr Atoz, we have 3 2000 or older VF's running, a 99 Mini Mill, and an 2001 HS-1 . We just got rid of 5 horizontals from the 90's that made it 20+ years. With the older Haas iron it was understandable when problems occurred and you could see the company making improvements , most repairs were easy enough. Nowadays we just want to have a working machine that does what it was advertised to do, nothing more/nothing less. We haven't.
