Hello gentleman!
Recently I ran in to an issue with my 2015 DMG MORI Ecoturn 450 lathe (with milling tools). Very good maintained machine, with just few cutting hours (abasically still like new).
When I perform tool touch off, the tool touches the tip of the setter and keep moving. The light on the arm indicates that it sense the tool, but control doesn't react.
I spoke to the guy from DMG Mori, who served good 20 years fixing this machines on the field and he was confused on what's going on. Everything we checked, wiring, voltage, parameters, seems to be good and everything should work just fine.
Any previous experience with such issue?
There is nothing magical, it either should or shouldn't work.
