Hello to everyone!

I have a mori seiki 204MC with MSG805 (Meldas) and have three questions to you:

1. I cant figure out how to adjust the turret to center the main spindle axis. Static drilling tools are always below the axis. I found a other discussion where it was done one a fanuc controll and only paramters have been adjusted.

2. Can someone tell me what the CAP 64 value is or what is the standard value? asking for a friend

3. Is it possible to get more Diskspace for programs. I also mill on the machine with CAM Program and the programs are getting realy big?

Best regards from Austria!

without a y axis, it is a mechanical adjustment.

you can dnc from the card for big programs, I think it is too old to have the "user area" memory feature.

Depends on what version of Meldas that control is based on. My Mori with the MSC802M is built around the Meldas M50 and though it has a card reader, send and receive is all you can do. To DNC it has to be RS232 to a PC or other device.

Thanks for the Answers! DNC is already set up over RS232 but the internal storage space for programs is very small(for 3d milling). So my question is it it possible to extend that storage space.

Is dripfeeding with a card possible?

Thank you for the answer regarding to adjust the turret. It has no Y-Axis. Does someone know how to adjust mechanical? Best regards.
