MV1200 .004" wire changover help

I have had hell trying to change from .01 to .004 wire for a job and I'm clueless. I've spent two days cleaning changing and doing everything Mits asked for. Does anyone know of a wire that is stiff enough to thread through the machine. Everything is clean. Everything is set. I have brand new .004 guides. Any idea of the best wore to use to solve this issue is greatly appreciated in advance. Thanks

Did you check all the machine settings that needed to be changed for .004 wire? Like wire tension in rear of machine, correct wire setting to brass and .004 when you pushed pre tension button on the front of the machine. Is it annealing the wire? Is it not going through the upper guide?
