What(s) does(do) it adapt(s)??

Its a press fit and pinned . It allows a steel part to be used on an aluminum driveline

Is it strong? Doesn't take much force to stretch a 3x.083 steel tube.

What we have is a 2020 dodge transfercase output waffle style attachment , new for us,, We designed and modified the driveline side to be a direct bolt up , to a B4C treated 42 degree cv made for 30+ degree's of operation at highway speeds , along with a 80"+ long shaft retrofitted to our aluminum slip 2" 16. This would not have been possible a year ago.
