Need air clamping schematic for Brown & Sharpe Microval

I know this is an old thread but I am hoping you guys can help me out. I recently bought a Gage 2000 from '98 and like everyone else my airlines are junk and almost all of them have broken. I have spent a week searching for any info I can find including a phone call to Hexagon with zero luck in finding any info. You guys here seem to be the only people that have info and are willing to share. If someone could send me the air diagrams I would appreciate it. I know its not the same machine but at this point I will take anything I can get.

So glad I found this thread. I have been tasked with re-tubing the 2 manual CMMs we have in our shop. One being an old B&S Microval and the other an old B&S Gage 2000. If someone could please send me any and all schematics for these two that would be very much appreciated. [email protected]

In case anyone made the mistake I did. The tubing is not 3/16" I.D. Its actually .180" I.D. nylon tubing. Found 100 foot of it on MSC for 100 bucks

Hi,

Got laid off so I have time to play with a micro val I picked up. Tubing looks fine, but I dont have a light pen or keyboard to run it. Anyone have some suggestions as to how to interface with the machine? Ordered an rs232 keyboard (not sure if thats even it). If anyone has the full manual or other types of schematics please send it out to me. I can pay it forward with some 3d prints if anyone needs it. Any pics of where things plug into would help also. Not sure where the keyboard goes (assuming the r232 port???)

Thanks for the information, Mike Henry. It looks like what I need, and hopefully is helpful. I do have another question, and though it's specific to this machine, and the pneumatic system. it's not about the schematic. I'm trying to find a parts breakdown for the machine, specifically the Z Axis counterbalance. The schematic confirms my thoughts about how it's supposed to work, but not exactly what's inside to make it work.
Has anyone here, during the course of their repairs, been inside the Z axis rail?
