New Speed and Feed Calculator

A lot of good data here, good job. If you need any Mitsubishi data hit me up, they have some new grades not listed.
A good tap chart with thread percentages listed for different tap drills would be awesome, especially STI taps.

Hello friends,

I had been working hard over the past few months to distill all my knowledge into an online tool that will provide Speed, Feed, and Carbide Grades recommendations based on many factors.

Speed and Feed Calculator - FREE - Speeds & Feeds Calculator (20+ params!)

I hope you will find it useful.

I would really appreciate getting more feedback from the field about bugs and new features that you would like to see coming in the future.

Many Thanks,

Eric Spencer
Techincal Data for the Machining Industry - Machining Doctor

It worked (although sluggish) with Firefox 91.
Nicely done. Thank you.

Doug.

It's a little cumbersome to use, but your numbers are way off.
1/2" end mill 1.2 depth of cut,.05" setpover in 4150pht. Set it to aggressive and your numbers are at about 1/2 of the speed I would run it at.

It's not a bad start, but it needs work.
Oh and ditch the popups, that will deter people immediately.

1) Did you set aggressive for both cutting speed and chip load?
2) How many teeth/flutes did you set?
3) With both set to aggressive and 4 flutes I get 3760 RPM with 60 inch/min
4) What did you get and at what numbers would you run it?

Thanks,
Eric
