You think I run the risk of damaging the seals by using the cost effective stuff from tractor supply?

I was probably going to flush the first 5 gallons anyway

Nah, probably fine short term. Might be fine long term, who knows. I'd be more worried about the ways, myself. But for a short period it won't hurt anything.

Someone has definitely been into the Selectron controller. I remember when I inspected the unit, the holding power was very weak, which I was hoping due to the fact that the chuck was rusty and dirty, but I don't think thats the case.

Anyway, I may have to buy or build a new one. 220V input, 220V output at 175 Watts. Any suggestions on where to start?

Hey all, there was a significant leak in the valve that controls the table movement, so took it apart and found the oil seal was fubar. Replaced it. I am wondering what these 2 flat head screws are for? They seem to do absolutely nothing. The 4 SHCS are what hold the back cover on to the body.

Does anyone have a doall grinder close to this generation? I have a leak in the pilot valve that I can’t seem to figure out. The valve is pictured above.

I’d love to see one put together, as I think mine had been messed with in the past by the previous owner.
