I have a Roll In. Thought about replacing it with? I use it maybe once or twice a year but do not remember when I last used it. If I let it go for damn sure I would need it twice a week, so it stays. Seriously, walked over to it last week for something, then walked away. So it gives me some exercise for my legs. Nice saw but never did what I bought it for because my needs changed after it landed. HydeMech H14A auto was needed.

Another vote for the Powermatic 143. Nice sturdy cast iron frame and gearbox. The version without the gearbox is the 141. If I did not have a 143 and ran across a 141 I would soon have the 141 set up with a VFD and some pullies for a high and low speed range.

Why go to all the trouble to take out the twist ?
Both of mine work just fine by simply tilting them to the vertical position.
Removing the twist increases the throat from 2" to 5-1/2". With a little modification to the frame that can be increased to 6".
