NOVEMBER 7 - 11, 2022 scraping and alignment class

THIS CLASS IS GOING TO HAPPEN. I HAVE 2 WEEKS SCHEDULED. IF WE ONLY HAVE 1 OUTSIDE STUDENT AS J & S ARE HAVING ME COME.

To be held at J & S Machine and Valve in Nowata, Oklahoma. Nowata is about 20 miles east of Bartlesville. I will be teaching my basic hand and power scraping class days 1, 2 and 3. Day 4 and 5 we will be testing and aligning lathes, mills, scraping Turcite and several techniques on how to repair and rebuild your machines. I will be staying the weekend and the next I'll be working inside the plant doing some machine repair and preventative maintenance and your welcome to help. Message me for more details.

J&S are typical machine shops and they can't hire people. Hiring a maintenance man down in the boonies is difficult. There is a local rebuilder in Tulsa that is retiring and wasn't that good when he was working. I've been going to J&S for 15 years. I've gone there a number of time to do rebuilding and maintenance and didn't have a class. This time he wants me to teach one of his machinists to scrape. If someone wants to live where it is quiet and warm in the winter months, he is always hiring.
