OT - forum thread navigation request

Would it be possible to add the thread page navigation buttons ( next, previous, first, last page) to the top of the pages as well?
It's a bit annoying to have to scroll down all the way to the bottom to navigate.

Yes, please do this! I grumble about this every time I visit the forum.

I don't think it is a lack-of a feature, rather one of two:
1: Simple oversight ( though it is one looong lasting oversight for sure )
2: Intentional as some Genwhatever responsible for the UI doesn't know, care or worse, actually believes it to be the right way.

You need to get out more. There are plenty of terrible forum features out there. You should try the NX forums. They set the new standard for me for unusable crap. You can't even view all the posts at once, you have to keep clicking to expand 10 posts at a time, and you may miss the reply since the posts are no longer completely in the order made, but also split among responses to other posts in the thread. So you can have a old thread with a new reply and you have to keep clicking around to find where the damn reply is. Good thing that after the "upgrade" that the amount of users dropped off so it's not so much of a problem.

All the ads are at the bottom, so when you speed scroll down to the forum navigation stuff, you're bound to go too far and see some ads.

I believe that was a decision by Milacron. He mentioned not liking it before if'n I recall correctly. I vote for it though. Much nicer to have it top and bottom.

For a few days after the last major upgrade, the navigation buttons were at the top and bottom.

I don't particularly like the "Similar threads", just more crap to wade thru to get to the next page.

Totally agree! I really HATE getting dropped off at the end. Whoever implemented that must start books on the last page.

Any movement on getting this done? Having nav buttons at both top and bottom of pages would be a nice improvement.

Assist used to do starbucks but now we have Manner. About half the price, equal quality (for what that's worth), they have quntuplicated at least in the past couple years. They are everywhere in skankhai.

And they sure as heck don't have to wear gender-labels on their clothes We don't do that shit here. Girls are girls, boys are boys or maybe gay, who knows, who cares, that's their own private business and the third person pronoun ? Means either one. Or even 'it'.
