I purchased this PM-1340GT 13″x40″ Lathe NEW in 2020.
This machine is 3-Phase.
Precision Matthews are top notch machines.
Life took a change for me after losing my wife in 2021 and I will be moving this year (2023).
As it will be difficult to find a house that will accomodate my machines, it is better to sell it.
After I move, if I have the space I will buy another machine.
Brand new, only driven on Sundays. Really!
I will sell the machine and stand without tool holder and tooling.

We recently got one of these for the STEM/robot/CAD lab at the high school where I help out. It will never be confused with a jewel of German engineering, but it's not a bad machine at all. Leaps and bounds better than one of the Jet BDB-919 benchtop lathes, which is what the lab started with. (The BDB-919 lathe is unconditionally a steaming pile of dung.)
About 1425lbs. If those are the heavy-weight stands, they're like 11 gauge steel and add some mass of their own.
