Hi.
I have an issue with creating a postprocessor for milling text on a T3 with EIA/ISO option.
I am not able to do straight lines.
If I create a program like this:
G0 X100 Z2 C0
G1 Z-0,1
G1 X100 C90

It will go for the red line in the picture below.
How can I make it go for the green line?

Cant find anything about this in the programming manual:

Your program told the machine to rotate C, but start and stop at the same X position.

You are going to need to program the line in 2 segments.

Start at X100, C0
G1 X80 (?), C45.
G1X100, C90

You want to polar mill this feature. I replied to a post about polar milling with an integrex not long ago. I put in a sample of how to program a parameter change to make the machine revert to a T-32 mode. Not sure if a T-3 will accept the same polar milling code, but worth a try. Just leave out the G10 thru G11 lines.

No, the T32 code will not work.
G12.1 that will activate polar mode in T32 does not work on a T3.

I tried to convert a T3 Mazatrol program with a straight line to EIA/ISO with CAMWARE but I get the error "Illigal Process for ISO output for this type of machine".
If I do the same on a T32 Mazatrol program it works and it use the G12.1 funktion.

Strange that T3 can do it in mazatrol but not in ISO.

Watch the command page output and buffer line when milling that straight line in Mazatrol with single block turned on. You will see the output is G100 and G101 when milling the line. Perhaps it will work if you use the same G-codes in EIA?
