Hi
On my older year 2000 vf0e I’ve got a question regarding the quick code and tapping,
I’ve hardly ever used it but I’m sure I did use tapping a few times with no issues either that or I’m not remembering lol
So……… is it normal on the older quick code when you select a tapping cycle that it defaults the spindle with an M5?
I asked Haas technical about this and they said they can’t remember but maybe that’s the default and then you have to edit it to either M3 or M4 depending if you wanted left or right tapping,
I was sure I didn’t have to do this previously
Can anybody else confirm this for me?
An example of the quick code for tapping with the spindle off M5

Thanks
Marc
