Question- How to test a Fanuc power unit?

Hello gents!

I was wondering if any of you guys knew how to test the power unit out of a Fanuc 10T on a 1986 Victor (Mori SL copy)? I have the unit out of the machine.

The tag on the unit reads:

POWER UNIT

TYPE NO. A16B-1210-0510-01

MFG NO. P65P00156

FANUC LTD MADE IN JAPAN

Another question- I have found many units on ebay with the same type no., but a different mfg no. Is it possible that these units would interchange with our existing unit?

There are check pins along the top or bottom edge, inside the case, where you can connect scope probes or meter lead clips. The pins are labeled as to what voltage you're checking. It's in the Maintenance Manual.

That mfg. number is the serial number, so irrelevant. The Type No. is the part number. If it matches, you can use it.
