really cheap southbend

No relation to the company but i have been eyeballing this lathe for some time.

It has no motor but still its a VERY good deal IMHO for a lathe especially for the guys in western canada.

Like i said i'd buy it but dont have the room, so the ol myford will have to do

someone posted photo's on here, the bed is pretty worn as I recall. I think he said they would take $700.00

Those model lathes run very slow. I have seen machine shops put 3450 rpm motors in them to speed them up. But,keep the bearings oiled!!

I wanted to buy that lathe three weeks ago . I called on a Monday said I will take it then they said someome had frist refusal waited till friday and they siad it was taken . So why do they still have it for sale.
