I think for the 2 bearing spindle the two bearings are identical. How about the D=-4 and d=-2 which I assume are OD and ID offsets in microns. Did you just "get" these values or did you ask for them?

No, the back bearing is definitely smaller than the front - think it may have been a 7205, same P4 class.

Thanks for the correction. Could you confirm that the other bearing was a 7205 by reviewing your order? If true, then that simplifies things:
The two-bearing spindles use one x 7205 and one x 7206. The four-bearing spindles use two x 7205 and two x 7206.

The only thing different is that for the four-bearing spindles, the 7205 bearings need to be purchased as a pair for tandem mounting, or specd for "universal" mounting. Likewise for the 7206 bearings.
