Reinforce a wood shop floor- currently 3/4 ply over joists

We mentioned "drywall screws" above, wrong term, used as general term of screws.

Our local distributor was display units with many different types of screws that look similar to drywall type but are not.

Our floor is held down with something from distance like like drywall ,just the head away, the rest is a drill bit, a set of little tabs that open up the hole for the screw that snap off when they hit the steel followed by self tapping maybe 10-32 sized screw upto the head.

The screws used for te spacer blocks need to both correct diameter and length, and predrilled holes may be needed depending on materials and loading.

Not so concerned about ultimate load as much as point load break through-

Use four screw-in piles directly under the leveling screws and leave the floor as is. If you shop around, you can find the ground screws in a suitable capacity made in sections.

By having sections, you will only need to drill holes in the floor that just clear the tube's diameter (add the large helical part by crawling under the floor).

Just as a reference, you can get the one shown below for less than 40 bucks at Lowes or Home Depot, and its load rating is 5000 pounds, though I would want something more substantial.

This is a poor example, but it shows the process (skip the part about adding the wooden post. Let your machine's leveling screws rest directly against the columns of the piles.):
