It would really be nice to have a grinding FAQ that was moderated, so that someone could organize it in a way that made sense.

I'm a novice when it comes to grinding, so I would really like to see at least one post with links to Surface Grinder Basics.

e.g.
How to select the grinding wheel ->
How much feed is just right ->
Does the ideal rpm (surface speed) vary depending on wheel type? ->
Common problems ->
Wheel balancers ->

I think it would be good to break up each category into separate threads.
I.E.
Wheel selecting
Feeding/surface speed
Etc. etc.

If we categorize the threads, it should be much easier to post and search.

I'll start with one on wheel selecting, and copy my first response to it that I made in grinding FAQs
