Rockwell Delta 17-600 drill press

Need to remove the bottom spindle to replace the bearings. Unable to locate a spanner wrench that will work to remove the nut. Any ideas?

Any pictures? You can probably make one (before you take the drill appart). Measure the distance between the two slots/holes, drill a couple holes in a scrap piece of steel and press in appropriate size dowel pins.
