I have a Rong FU FU-30 mounted on a balancing machine. The motor has failed. I believe it is the starter windings.

The mills are quite common, but the motors don't seem to be. I suspect the motor to be manufactured by Jinn-Yua of Taiwan.
Motor Description:
HP 2
Volts 115/230
RPM 1100
Phase 1
Class E
I really don't expect anyone has found a good replacement?

I assume you have replaced the capacitor..........easily seen if those kind of poorly insulated motors are burnt......first is the smell ,second is a section of black wire ...........if it has a centrifugal switch ,the failure of the switch will result in actual flame coming out.

The 1,000 rpm will be hard to find. I would go with a higher rpm and smaller motor pulley if belt drive. Or go 3 phase and vfd.

The 1100RPM (not 1000) is a result of the nominal 1200RPM of a 6 pole motor with lots of slip. If the OP were approaching this the right way, he would measure the foot pattern and shaft height and cross reference it to an IEC or NEMA frame standard then locate and buy a new motor accordingly. Or he could contact Rong Fu and buy a new motor from their abundant network of aftermarket parts and service capabilities. There's no need to post any question here about forbidden equipment...

In my experience, if a motor does not call out a frame size on its nameplate, it is not built to a NEMA or IEC standard. Some extra fitting would then be required. Perhaps the motor would need to be shimmed up or the motor pulley bored out or bushed for a different shaft size. Other than that, it's just a 6 pole motor. Motors come in different speeds and horsepower ratings, buy the one you need.
