Rotab for Bridgeport

Would someone mind telling me if this turntable is made to mount to a mill. I'm used to seeing more locking devices to make it rigid. Supposedly this was bought new decades ago and never used. I took some pictures if that would help.

The tilt has two locks, but I cannot see a lock on the rotary table. Maybe there is something not shown in the pictures. Still, it seems too heavy for an inspection device and I see no verniers on the 1 degree division angle scales.

If that is anything like the 10" Imperial compound tilt rotary table I have, it will give your mill an hernia from the weight of it on the mill table.

Looks like it was made for inspection on a surface plate. We used to have a bigger version of that rotab here but it never got used either.
