Smithy at300 dead center

I have a late 90s smithy at 300 it's missing the dead center for tail stock.trying to find out if it's a mt2 3 or4

I can't tell from this distance, but if the worst comes to the worst you can get Morse Taper dimensions here and measure what the large end ID is on your machine.

You should ask the Smithy factory. give them your serial number. Or in the Smithy forum if there is one on here. This is the scraping and machine reconditioning forum.

If you can measure the hole likely, you can tell what taper it is.
MT #2 would be a little smaller than 3/4"
