South bend model a accessory identification

I just got a south bend model a lathe with some tooling in a lot. I need some help identifying some of the things that came with the lathe. I know that the larger diameter draw bar and the collets go together, but what about these little cylinders that go in the mt2 holder and use the smaller draw bar? The hole through them is tapered. Also, what is the brass thing?7EE3E2F2-898D-4EE1-99AA-4ADBBB916020.jpegEF81F860-3233-4162-A00E-BF98340157A0.jpegCB02E984-621F-4BD1-9DC1-C9782FA3EC08.jpeg027A0D12-0B42-4A31-9D3F-10504B970E7B.jpeg99335CF7-6185-4169-9C83-0A7A1AB52960.jpeg

Those are for holding end mills in the spindle, possibly home-made. This machine may have come with a milling attachment? The sleeves are to adapt end mills with different shank diameters to the MT2 holder.

To identify "the brass thing", you're going to have to post detailed pictures and a complete description. It LOOKS like a brass spindle protector, but that's just a guess with 10 mile away pictures.

I am guessing the piece in the last picture centers the drawbar in the second to last picture. It would slide on the drawbar, drawbar goes in the lathe spindle and the threads into the 3MT end mill holder.

Is it the brass thing you are asking about.

Hope this helps.

Ben
