The Fabrication Forum?

So, the wording of the "Fabrication" forum kinda confuses me. Says "discuss CNC cutting, welding, and fab techniques".

Sooo... is it for CNC welding and fabricating?

I tend to not use that forum because I don't want to be the A-hole asking about manual welding on a CNC specific forum.

If it IS in fact specifically a CNC forum, might I suggest a forum for regular fabrication? I mean, I know it's Practical MACHINIST, not welder, but still. Machinisty types are allowed to use welding equipment (under STRICT supervision only, of course).

Frankly, I'm a welder more than anything... actually, I might be better at building than welding - I dunno.... put it this way - I can build you a SWEET garage AND burn it down right afterward with an errant spark from a 6010 while I build you a badass trailer in said garage (which you'll be living in soon after, cause the garage was an attached)... It'll be worth it though, cause I'll be laying down a BEAUTIFUL bead as the place burns down around me.

Did you take a look at all the threads ?

It is not at all what you think it is.

CNC cutting and CNC welding is only a small fraction of what is discussed there.

Is this a real question or a pedantic grammar joke?

If reading the thread titles didn’t answer your question (it should have) why not ask the question in the appropriate forum?

There are two types of people: One is those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.

'cause I like to post in the General forum. I mean... I DID get the answer I was looking for. Not a pedantic grammar joke... Just me being pedantic about grammar.
