Around here steel chips are maybe $0.01 per pound.
I've got an old dryer to take in, so I'll stuff it with chips, and get maybe 6 or 8 cents a pound !
Maybe worth the effort.

I read an article a while back about some chancer who won the contract to raise and scrap the German WW1 fleet that was scuttled in Scapa Flow, Scotland. Now THAT was allot of scrap!
