Tig finger control

I just got this Amptrol for a TIG that I'm working on. My machine has a 3 pin current control with a 2 prong arc start. The amptrol pictured is a 5 pin DIN type arrangement.
Anyone have any input on this one? The machine is a 1970 which was the last year before solid state.

Maybe there is an "Antique Welding Equipment" forum somewhere

i have a 2 and a 3 wire plug on my miller 330ab
2 wires go to the contactor from the foot switch
and the others go to the resestor hope that helps let me know if u meed a pic i have the manuals

My old Lincoln has the same arrangement. I checked with Lincoln and they said that the foot control has a 1000 ohm 12.5 watt potentiometer in it. This hand control has a pretty small pot in it and a different type plug. I'm thinking that Lincoln changed some things in the control circuit on the later machines when they went to the 5 pin connecter.
