Torsion springs for brushes

Anyone have any good resources on torsion springs?

I had one snap on me and will likely replace the 4 of them due to the state my brush assembly is currently in.

Not sure on commercial sources but a lot of the old Centuries use plain annealed copper springs. If you could find a source for some suitable copper strip you could probably make your own very easily.

Doesn't take much spring pressure at all to make these old brush-lifting motors work if they're kept clean and trim.

Have you electric motor brush springs usa - Google Search ?

I have, but I'm rolling the dice with a google search. I'd much prefer to post something here in hopes of going down a path that someone else had luck on.

HelwigCarbon can make you new springs. Don’t know the cost. When I replaced my monarch 10ee brushes they were cheaper than Monarch.
