Transfer program to Bridgeport VMC800

Hello,

We have Bridgeport VMC800. On machine we have installed NPort 5230 through 25 pin connector. We have installed CIMCO V5 and we found Nport on Nport Administrator.

We are using Baudrate 2400, 7, 2, even. But when we try transfer over EXT : EXT to TNC there is no any response. Also we have tried over Blocwise transfer but machine just freez.

Also we have tried to make 25pin to 9pin cable to transfer over cable but only response which we got is when we transfer from TNC to Computer. But we only get program name transfered, not entire program. Direction Computer to TNC not work at all over EXT or Blockwise.

Maybe we are setting something wrong with TNCremo...

If someone have some tutorial to help us how to transfer with Nport or cable it would be very helpful for us. Thank you very much.

I have mentioned several times that threads with CNC specific questions will get more replies in the CNC Machining section at the top of PM, then once in a while someone pops in with a really helpful reply here.

Overall most this section gets mostly manual machine threads and generally you will get more answers to questions like yours in the CNC section.
