Turning C10100 copper

I've got 3 more inserts coming today. Two from Iscar and one from Tungaloy.

I'll let everyone know how it goes.

I'm not saying don't. But I have Turned Miles of Copper, in my experience you're going to need to force an interrupted cut somehow. Drilled holes or Saw for Manual Machine tools. If you have CNC there are a whole list of things you can do. I have never seen an Insert geometry that would do it. If I turn out to be wrong, please post back with Nomenclature, and Builder of the insert.

This is something we've worried about as well because we're considering getting a CNC lathe for this kind of work.


Inserts still aren't here, so I'll be back later tonight hopefully.
