I have a bridgeport that has been reto fit in 95 with a centriod M-series control. I would like to upgrade the controls on it to something a little user friendly that I can program @ the machine
I currently can't get it to run, ( I'm sure it's something I'm not doing ) so my thoughts bring it up to date. Any thoughts?
Would like to use the drives & ball screws that it already has.
Thank you

There was a guy here with a complete Dynapath kit, I don't remember if it was a 10 or 20 or whatever but it's hard to beat a Bendix for nice to run, basic control. Maybe a little more "industrial" than you are thinking but you'd get used to it fast. Do a search, maybe he still has it.

I have an M400 Centroid on my V2xT Bridgeport, I don't know how anything could be easier to program at the machine. As usual no location listed. I know someone who can get it running for You, he is based in Pennsylvania.

It was probably me, I sold it last year though. It was a real nice Delta 20.

I would definitely stay with Centroid, primarily because an upgrade will be affordable and straight forward. I am running Centroid CNC12 on an AllinoneDC.

I would suggest going to the Centroid forum and ask them what upgrade options are available. https://centroidcncforum.com

Centroid gives free tech support through the forum. It's annoying if something breaks and you are in a hurry but at the same time it's nice because you get a lot more eyes on the problem.

Please let us know what you end up choosing.

That is probably in the area the guy I know will travel to. Believe me you want to stay with the Centroid they are great. PM me if you want his number. He is a good dude and a real straight shooter as well.
