I have a Lagun FCM1800 milling machine. It has a horizontal spindle plus a vertical universal head with a power overarm, beautiful machine. I don't have a manual for it.
I'm trying to figure out how to properly use the backlash eliminator for horizontal milling. It has a knob that you screw clockwise or counter-clockwise to engage what I assume is the backlash eliminator (photo). I'm not sure how tight I should be screwing this knob re eliminating backlash.
Hoping that someone here can tell me how to set it properly.
