want to buy chuck jaws

I have a very nice 8" Warner & Swasey chuck and need hardened chuck jaws for it. It is model M-2308 would like smooth jaws. Please search thru your surplus and see if you have any.

Hi, Pat,

Sorry you're having this trouble, but this is a Rare Bird.

You could always whittle some out from soft jaws, and then have them carburized and hardened, or, if this will work, you could get some serrated jaw inserts like Kennametal used to make, called Kengrips and put these in the jaws; these were also made by Stilson.
