Hello All,
I'm having issues with my VF2-SS control not letting my cutters adjust for diameter WEAR inputs on the control.

I have a cutout for red dot sight on a Glock slide that i programmed in CAM Works and it worked just fine on my MiniMill2, meaning my contour pass allowed for Diameter WEAR inputs on the control.
I have a rough and finish toolpath stadegy I'm using and cutter compensation is checked in CAMworks and it did work on my MiniMill.

When I run the program on my VF2-SS nothing adjust when I input -.0125 on the control. This happened with another program as well.

Anyone have this issue? Know why? Know how to fix it?

I remember seeing a video about this, it was a setting in the control that allows it to use cutter comp, and needs commands to turn it on and off. I wish I could remember what video that was on youtube for haas. had it in a tip of the day or something. if I find it, I will post it.
 
It doesn’t look like you are using cutter comp on T11 roughing, but that’s normal. Is the part already to size so maybe T12 needs to be offset by more to SEE the effect? I doubt it since you are trying to make a negative offset change but just a thought. You ARE adjusting offset “12”, right?
 
If the code is acting differently in the two machines, I would recommend checking settings.

The first one to check would be Setting 40 Radius or Diameter. This will control if your machine reads the tool compensation value as radius or diameter.
