WEDM PROGRAMMING, "HF SOFT" MFG: CHONGQING HUAMING

Been lurking for several years, and finally found a question that's not been discussed, but that could also be poor keyword searching also...

So Here Goes;

We've got a “wire” saw, that behaves in between an (dumb) EDM and a bandsaw, it uses a diamond wire that is approx. .015dia. and is numerically controlled, and that's where we are stuck right now.
It looks like it is a combination controller, Nesting/CAD software package, and looks unique to the manufacturer, i.e. its not a Siemens/FANUC base control

I was wondering if anyone else has come across this specific software?

We've started a line of communication back to the MFG, but as you might note from the subject line, they're on the other side of the pond...

We’ve got:

“HF EDM HP” (name of software package)

This is a WEDM programming and controlling system for fact to wire-cutting processes.

What is the manufacture of the EDM. I tried looking up the HF EDM HP name and there's not much information on it.

Do you have to use their software? Could you write a simple gcode manually and load it into the machine?
If it's just making straight cuts, it shouldn't be too hard to write by hand.
