Would lengthy blackouts create new manufacturing opportunities?

The other thing about the grid is that if a lot of people have solar on their roof their isn't as much need to shuffle the power long distances. But the CONs don't seem to think of things like that. They just parrot whatever hannity has to say.
How long have you had solar installed on the roof of your primary residence?

Did you fact check his data? Maybe it's all a bunch of made up bullshit.
I just wanted to make sure personally, otherwise it happens that yesterday he sold his electricity to the network, and tomorrow he disconnected from the network. I may be wrong, but this subsidy scam has already been in Germany before, they also lured people to solar panels, and now they are being told by government people to replace hot showers with wiping parts of the body with a rag. it’s just that someone doesn’t understand that the energy reserve, I’m talking about what is produced by burning hydrocarbons, no one will keep. someone will have to pay for the maintenance of backup power plants and networks.

Likely the worse thing we do is to bury organic material in landfills.
Organic garbage and even human poo should go into topsoil development.
Yes, fresh poo should not b used for fertilizer/food production.

But a nuclear war or the next Ice age will likely put the kibosh on human plans.

Aliens seem to be stealing our water lately so we may as well just give up trying to save the life on this planet..darn.
This may shock you but human waste does in fact go into soil development right this minute. What do you think happens to all the sludge that is pumped out of septic tanks and the sludge that comes from sewage treatment plants? I'll give you a clue. Humans aren't eating it.

I have a fairly large dairy farm close by and have seen them knife the sludge into the soil before planting crops and it seems to work very well. They get bumper crops of corn and alfalfa.

Well B he specified very well just recently and I appreciated that. For anyone interested in doing the same thing it is helpful. I am not yet there are some who actually are weighing the costs of this. It is Han’s money hard earned and other peoples too. It makes things simpler to first look at the costs of doing something and then knowing that to see the cost of a project to understand it’s value.
If you go back and look, Hanermo posted a day or two ago all about his system including all of the stats that he posted again for those that missed it the first time. Go back and look if you don't believe me.

I've never said or implied that I have solar electric on my primary residence. I do however have solar hot water panels on my roof and have had for decades. They work fine and in the summer my water heater rarely turns on.

It doesn't do much in the winter thought so it won't work for CONservatives because with them it's all or nothing.

only a stupid person would think that a nuclear winter would last a month. do you consider yourself smart? if so, why did they write about nuclear winter?
I was being facetious about the nuclear winter. Feel free to look up the word "facetious" so that you know what I'm talking about.

Yup - and telling us all to be scared.
Tourettes is a thing - and telling everyone not to watch tucker or hanity or alex jones or whatever dribble....rinse....repeat.....rinse....repeat....
Who told you not to watch those liars? It wasn't me. If you like hearing lies feel free to keep watching all of them. That's your business, not mine.

As with most things, your imagination outstrips reality by a fair bit
This entire post is void of facts, there is no current rule or even serious proposal to be 100 percent carbon free by any date. Zero carbon means zero carbon, not zero fuel. 'They' have no power to do any such thing at present. \
Your fears are just that, fears, not rational thinking

Net zero carbon by 2050... By any means necessary. This is the narrative the western world is operating under, correct?

Every proposal I've read, every conference I've watched; the end goal is to eliminate all private use of fossil fuels by 2050 regardless of consequence. Saving the planet is so critical that every finance bill Congress approves has climate as a main priority. The very first day in office, the new admin signed an EO titled: TACKLING CLIMATE CHANGE, CREATING GOOD UNION JOBS, AND ADVANCING ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE.

Fuel is only a small part of the brave new utopia being forced upon us. To deny that "bold change" is taking place world wide at an unprecedented rate would show a willful and stubborn lack of information. They tell us what they are doing, the prudent pay attention.

Here, all the information you could need to understand the narrative.

You are no longer a free man. You must submit and sacrifice in any way deemed necessary by the authority of science for the betterment of the planet.

Just think for a moment "If we don't do 'X' immediately, the world will end"... Do you honestly think that people making decisions based on that premise wouldn't be willing to; take your property, prohibit your business, ruin the natural economy or risk your community's access to food in order to meet their goals?

It is totalitarianism in the name of saving the world. The plan would never work without complete and total cooperation.

OK doubting Thomas. Just because our last president is a pathological liar doesn't mean everyone is a pathological liar. Some people actually tell the truth just because it is the truth.

Answer the question---Did you check the numbers given for the solar install and are they credible? Of course that requires that you actually have skills that would allow you to accurately assess a solar install based on codes, costs and other issues in another country.

BTW----ALL President's lie. And yes, some people actually tell the truth, and in some cases will be crucified for doing so.

Or live in a shipping container on a "ranch" in Arizona.....
There are some who live in shipping containers in Arizona but I'm not one of them. There is a shipping container tiny house for sale in our ranch for around $425K if you are interested. Or at least it was still for sale when we left Arizona in April.
