Again not a B & S, but here's a Cincinnati production type in Houston for $900:
Maybe grab it, tex. Those things still bring surprisingly good money, especially if they have rise and fall. They are beefy little bastards good for a lot of simple work (as our op has pointed out).

Cleanup, checkout, no rebuilding no you're not allowed, and a couple grand in the pocket ... or keep it, they don't take up much room.

Hey Tex GSmith... Thank you for the lead. I am trying to determine the quill travel specs. When we run the part we have to advance the quill .075 each cut with total of 50 cuts. So I have to have 3.75" to 4" of precision re settable travel. I need to see if the Cinci's do that.

Those machines were designed to gang cutters. Get 50 cutters and make the part in 1 pass.

gbent. Were you talking about the B&S or the Kokubo??? That is exactly what we do with the B&S... We gang 50 slotting cutters, make one pass. Reload advance one cutter width and make another pass and so on. Direct spindle drive. Do you know this machine? If it can advance the quill (or material being cut) for the appropriate cuts, the Kokubo would be very interesting.
