I've wasted away waiting for a fractional BP to fall in my lap over the years, but alas. This is an attempt to move the needle. No I don't want a modern offshore POS, yes I'm picky and I love my old iron. Under no circumstances will anything over a 3/4 BP fit in my space. A Millrite is at the extreme upper limit of what my space can accommodate, and I would prefer to get a Clausing 85xx for its size. Most of my machines are projects, and would love to buy a working unit. I am willing to be patient, and wait for a more complete specimen to become available, although I may just jump at the first opportunity. I am very willing to pay above average, or even significantly above average if that's what it takes. I'm newly single and am looking to make some bad financial decisions.
If you think that you may be selling yours in the future (I.e., years from now), let me know and I'll wait patiently. I'd also be open to bribing your offspring now to keep me in the back of their mind when you croak. At least that way I can keep the dream alive.
I live in Albuquerque, NM and am willing to drive a ways, or pay for shipping.
To future generations: if any of you archeologists out there find one of these entombed in a slab of granite: I'm probably still looking for one.
Cue mayonnaise jokes.
