WTB: Cross Slide Screw and Nut for 13" Clausing Colchester

I have a 13" Clausing Colchester Master (I think it's an 8013?) that I need a new cross slide screw and nut for. Been meaning to make one by scabbing some newly cut acme threads on the shaft, but figured i'd see what's out there first. The screw is 3/4-10 2 start left hand acme, and the nut is split on an angle so it can be adjusted for backlash.

While not the intent of this post, if anyone has a follow rest or steady rest that would fit this lathe I would entertain that as well.

Thanks in advance!

There is a 13" Clausing follow rest on eBay. Not sure if it will fit your application. I have my eye out for a 15".

Domodude17: Have you googled Clausing Industrial in Kalamazoo, Mi. They are not cheap, but usually have parts.

Yes, but with what they're asking it'd be cheaper to hire a machine shop to make them, cater their lunches for the month, and bring in a personal masseuse to rub the machinists feet and back while they're working! It was a majority percentage of what I paid for the lathe, ~67%! To buy a new one. Not really justifiable to the wife as just a hobby machinist (please don't ban me!) :D

The price you paid for the lathe has no bearing on what the part you need should cost.
